Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Science offers programs in diagnostic medical sonography, nuclear medicine technology, surgical technology, radiography, and other areas. Harrisburg Area Community College has numerous allied health education offerings, including cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, and respiratory therapy. WellSpan Health offers a radiography certification program at its York facilities. Medical billing and coding and medical assisting are among the courses of study at York Technical Institute. York College offers undergraduate degrees in nuclear medicine and respiratory care.
Projections for the allied health job market in the York area are encouraging.
